The Process
Once
the aircraft has been placed with AvPlanning, a Log Book audit is carried out
to establish all recurring AD’s applicable to the aircraft and when the AD’s
were last complied with. This comprehensive audit will also reveal any AD’s
that have been overlooked or overdue for compliance. If a full historical audit
has been commissioned, non-recurring AD's are also researched and recorded for
compliance. The audit and tracking includes all time lifed components, required
or requested Service Bulletins or Service Letters and any operator OSIP's as
requested.
Results
of the Audit are entered into the computer based maintenance control program.
When it's
time for a maintenance event, fax or email the Upcoming Maintenance Booking
form to AvPlanning.
A complete
work package will be generated and forwarded to any Maintenance Workshop you
nominate. The workshop can then transfer the information to their own worksheets
OR use the AvPlanning worksheets directly once their use is incorporated into
the workshops engineering procedures manual. Included in the workpackage is
a list of maintenance due during the new MR's validity in the expected order
of occurance.
Once the
job is complete, fax or email the work package back to us.
We’ll check
and update the history ready for the next inspection.
Future maintenance
requirements can also be sent to you as a forecast of your next inspection costs.
This gives owners plenty of notice of extra expenses.
